ATHLEISURE LIST: FiDi, NYC CLOUD ONE WINE BAR & LOUNGE The The Cloud One Hotels is a lifestyle hotel brand within the Motel One Group, created for travelers who want to experience the authentic character of a destination. Located in vibrant urban centers such as New York City, Hamburg, and Prague, each hotel is uniquely inspired by its local neighborhood, culture, and community, with individually designed interiors. The Cloud One Wine Bar & Lounge offers inviting social spaces, locally inspired food and drinks, curated events, and insider recommendations to discover each city. Guests can sink into stylish seating nooks surrounded by richly layered décor, featuring designer chairs and sofas imported from Europe, rattan pendant lighting, and sculptural chandeliers. Artwork sourced through local NYC artisans adds character and authenticity to the space. Floor-to-ceiling windows and clean, contemporary lines create an open, light-filled atmosphere that reflects the urban energy while connecting the interior to the NYC skyline. The Bar design has bocci lighting, giving a warm, diffused glow, suspended over high ceilings with brass wires and multi-color glass globes. Cocktails we suggest are: The Old School Bronx a timeless whiskey cocktail, No Sleep Till Brooklyn is a luxurious espresso martini crafted with ALB Vodka, and their Berry Berry Staten Island Ferry, a vibrant blend of gin, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, watermelon schnapps, berry syrup, fresh lime juice, mint, and soda water.

The wine list was thoughtfully designed by Sommelier Mark Guillaudeu (Eleven Madison Park), who was awarded best Sommelier 2022 & 2024 by Best Sommeliers of America. Sourcing from primarily New York, California, and Oregon vineyards, Mark curated a climate conscious wine list, spotlighting organic farms, sustainable producers, and regenerative methods. A few notable selections include Hermann J Wiemer, an off-dry Riesling farmed at biodynamic estate vineyards along Seneca Lake; Noblesse Oblige from Wölffer Vineyards in Sagaponack, Long Island; and Lingua Franca Avni, all the way from Oregon’s cool Eola-Amity Hills in Willamette Valley. Appetizers we suggest are their Grilled Cheese, for a lighter bite - Hummus & Black Bean Dip, and Arancini, truffle mushroom, coated with breadcrumbs. 3 Small Plates you should consider is their Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, Chocolate Lava Cake, Cloud One’s Chocolate Chip Cookies, that are made in-house. Swing by every Thursday from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM for their weekly live music series, Sounds in the Cloud. with local DJs. On the last Thursday of every month, they have Live Music Night, featuring rotating local duos performing with guitar, bass, or keyboard. These intimate performances create a warm, inviting ambiance that transforms the lounge into a unique listening experience.
