We’re kind of

We’re kind of reframing things and takinginspiration from mountain appareltechnology and try to apply it more intoan every day lens. I think that we’re gettingbetter and better as we go. Truthfully, when I started out, I couldn’t breakthe mold too much just because of whowe worked with and sort of the waysthat we had to sell our products, but themore that we start to get into our identityand what makes Terracea differentlike you said – we’re going to lean intothis lifestyle athleisure lens I think forour products which is exciting for me.AM: That’s really cool.Tell us specifically about the women’s assortmentand what are 3 key pieces thatwe should know about?EH: Of course! We do take a lot of feedbackfrom our women consumers andtesters who do wear our garments.Knowing that we just can’t force a fit foranyone and it’s a specific fit for womenin terms of body shapes. We have a lotof products that I would say kind of caterto women. I would say that this oneright here is our Vinda, a lightweightpuffer that truthfully is a really goodproduct. It’s got eco-friendly DWR whichis great and it actually repels water. Butit also has a lot of cool tech. We actuallyhave laser cut arm holes. We don’t thinkabout this, but this is also a waterproofpatch on the front of this as well. Soanything that you put in here you don’thave to worry about getting water inthis zipped area because actually, you’reprotected which is great. It’s a hybridbetween mountain wear and that everyday wear kind of build. This one actuallyuses another kind of recycled fill calledThermal Cluster. It’s super super warm, but it’s also quite light. I like to say thatit is our best all around jacket that weoffer. We have a men’s version of thisjacket which is the same and it just hasslightly different colors and is a boxiershape.Beyond that, the Camara has all of thebells and whistles. This is kind of our everyday, I’d like to say that it’s an everyparka in a lot of ways.AM: This is my favorite piece on the women’sside of your collection. I love this.EH: Oh thank you! I appreciate that andI like it too truthfully. I wear it a lot especiallywhen it starts to get colder andyou don’t want to layer too much. I justwant to wear one jacket that will keepyou warm and if that is your thoughtprocess, this is your go-to.It has a 2 way zipper and it also zips upfrom the bottom as well. If you’re takingyour jacket off and your in the car startingit, I think about a lot of things whenit goes into the design. If you’re sitting inthe car waiting, you can take your jacketoff, but you also don’t want to sit withit on and feel all bunched up. So I thinkabout things from a usability perspective.I also have this cool element. All ofour products have this raised embossedof our logo.AM: I love that!EH: I like to say that it is a little boringfor ski shops that are looking for flashyouterwear. But that has never been mypurpose. I wanted to make a better jacketwhich meant I wanted to wear it soit didn’t look obnoxious and differentwhen it was off of the slopes. So we gotinto embossments because it’s a littlemore subtle. Lastly, we have the Women’sCatnap which we talked about a bitbefore. If you look at a system, it’s actuallywarm, warmer, warmest, so it’s actually our warmest product. I can attestthat this will keep you warm, dry, andcomfortable outside no matter what. When it’s actually getting cold and youcan’t wear just a sweatshirt or somethingthat is knit and you want to repelwater – this is very warm. We do try todo a bit of a tonal block. The top half ismade of a 20K waterproof fabric whichno one else does by the way. This willactually block water like nothing else
